The Economy: Rumbles of Stumbles

There are rumblings that the economy is stumbling. Rumblings of stumblings. Last year I heard/saw/read several sources saying that they expected a surge in economic growth late last year and early this year due to the tax cuts. Big refunds meant big spending, making the economy go. But I also heard that we should watch what's happening in the Spring and Summer of '04, because as the tax cut effects fade, we would begin to see how the underlying economy is really doing. Now, I am still hearing that the overall economy is strong. Even Greenspan thinks so.
