A Closer Look at the Swing States

The New York Times is putting together an interesting "interactive guide" to the swing states in this election. Right now it covers Ohio, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin. They will be adding additional states over the coming weeks. (Note: I think this requires that you are registered at nytimes.com -- which is free.)

In addition, I came across this graphic covering the jobs situation in individual states, with the swing states shaded. Since people tend to vote based on their economic situation, I thought it was particularly interesting. Michigan and Ohio are key swing states.
