Debate Reaction

I surfed around tonight looking for reaction to the debate. Nothing all that interesting. The only comments I found worth posting are those at Electablog, which I largely agree with.

He ends with this: "Mark my words. At the worst, this is now a dead heat."

That is my feeling as well. It will take 3-4 days for the polls to reflect any shift. With a bunch of states only a few points apart, even small shifts are extremely important. And I suspect Kerry will get a small shift out of this debate, which could make it basically a dead heat.

One last comment: Foreign policy is supposedly Bush's strongest suit. The other debates will be on other topics, ostensibly favoring Kerry. We shall see.
