My Take on the Status of the Election

My take is that there are probably only 7 battleground states left: CO, FL, HI, IA, NM, OH, and WI. (HI has been added in over the past couple of weeks -- amazing, but true.)

Kerry probably needs to win FL or OH to win. If Kerry wins both, he almost certainly wins the election. If he wins OH, then he needs 12 more electoral votes. If he wins FL, then he needs 5 more electoral votes.

WI carries 10, CO 9, IA 7, NM 5, and HI 4.

Wouldn't it be a trip if HI decided the election?
