Sinclair Broadcasting

Sinclair Broadcast Group is going to show an anti-Kerry documentary on its stations (they control 62 of them, affiliates with all the major networks) during primetime over the next two weeks. This includes claims by Vietnam POWs who say they were tortured because of Kerry's anti-war comments back in the 70s. (Note: I have listened to interviews with other POWs who were in the same camps and say this is B.S.)

As this article mentions, Sinclair was the same group that refused to show Ted Koppel's show listing the U.S. dead in Iraq. That move was condemned by John McCain, among others.

This may be the final straw for several of the swing states. There won't be any time for Kerry to respond (it took about six weeks for the Swift Boat attacks to wear off, although even then his negatives were driven permanently higher in many places, like Florida).
