VP Debate Recap

I thought Sarah Palin did well, in the sense that she came across as being knowledgeable, etc. That was an important goal for her. I thought Biden did well too, in the sense that he didn't come across as babbling (which is his tendency) or sexist, etc. So basically a draw and I doubt it will change anybody's mind. It could make some people feel more comfortable with Palin being "a heartbeat away from the Presidency."

But I've got to say, I had a really hard time watching Palin. She shares a lot of Bush Jr.'s style -- cocksure, aggressive, factually-challenged, vague, etc. These are some of the qualities I don't care for in Bush, and to me she really came across that way tonight. I assume there is another side of her that I could learn to appreciate over time....
