Google Email

If anyone wants a Google email account, let me know and I can get you invited. You have to be invited since it's in beta. But if you jump in early you have a pretty good shot at getting your preferred email address (so you don't end up with, for example, "cleo8748@gmail.com").

You get 1,000 MB of space for free. Plus the user interface and overall paradigm are pretty cool. And they don't delete your account until you haven't used it for 9 months (MSN, etc. delete your account if you don't use it for 30 days, I believe).

The only downside is that they "kind of" violate your privacy. I'm not sure, but that might be like being "kind of" pregnant.

So let me know if you want that 1,000 MB of free space! Come on, all your friends are doing it!

Note: I have a gmail account, I just don't use it for controversial stuff. I save that for my Yahoo account -- so that Yahoo can read it instead. :-)
