Fickle Polls

From the SF Chronicle, an interesting article re: the latest polls.

"Depending on which poll you like, President George Bush is ahead of Democratic Sen. John Kerry in the race for president by 13 percentage points, has a solid nine-point lead, is losing by a single point or is clinging to a one-point advantage."

On a side note, I have got to think that polls are going to start being created and promoted as surrogate marketing tools for the campaigns. Maybe not in this campaign, but in the future. They have too much impact to not get used this way, especially in this day and age (i.e. very poor ethics).
