Prominent Republican Speaks Out re: Iraq War

Finally, a prominent Republican in Congress has said publicly that the U.S. military action in Iraq was a mistake.

Representative Doug Bereuter of Nebraska, vice chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a senior member of the House International Relations Committee, wrote a letter to his constituents saying that the Iraq war is a "costly mess and there is no easy and quick way to end our responsibilities in Iraq without creating bigger future problems in the region and, in general, in the Muslim world."
