Bay Area Home Prices

I received a monthly email update about the Bay Area real estate market and it had an interesting chart in it. It breaks out prices in the Bay Area by region from 1991 to the present, categorized by expensive, moderately expensive, etc. See below the chart for the full list of categories. Expensive - Saratoga, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Menlo Park & Atherton

Moderately expensive - Almaden Valley, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and Mt View

Moderate - Santa Teresa, Evergreen, Berryessa, Milpitas, Santa Clara, Willow Glen, Blossom Valley, Cambrian and Campbell

Affordable - Central, South and East San Jose

South County - Morgan Hill, Gilroy and San Martin
