First Official Anna Update
Anna Update October 12, 2004 (from V):
Welcome to our first Anna update. Anna is six months old and I call her "baby love". She is such a sweet soul and is great to snuggle with. She likes people who smile and loves long hair that she can grab. She has a very strong grip. Her smile is infectious and lights up a room. She has the best laugh. She is content and patient. She loves taking a bath with Sara. Sara cracks her up. Sara can make Anna laugh almost better than anyone. She will fall asleep on your shoulder. She really is baby love.
Moving:
When you put Anna on her back she immediately flips over. She can roll over consecutive times and will move five feet before you look up. She can creep forward and her reach/stretch is very impressive.
Holding:
Anna can hold something in each hand simultaneously. She can transfer items from one hand to another. She can hold something with two hands. She can pick up large and small items and uses a "raking motion".
Eating:
Anna is still nursing. She has started eating organic oatmeal and has just started eating organic baby food -- we started with the pears/oatmeal/banana combo. She seems to like it. She loooves to eat paper. She is quite fond of chewing on plastic bags. We limit that though J.
Anna is growing and learning every day. She watches Baby Mozart, Baby Bach, and Baby Van Gogh. She loves reading books and eating books. She loves the dog and sleeps at night from 9 or so until 8 with a few feedings in between. She weighs about 16 pounds and is in the 50% for height, head circumference and weight. She is perfect. She is loved. I hope you all get some time to meet her. She is baby love.
